Day 1 - Did that just happen?

Like a baby, you are taking the first steps in a journey that is not a sprint but a marathon and it’s your journey. It’s unique to you, with your unique footprint on the sands of time. Like any child, our desire is that you grow and the only way to do that is to study the Word of God for yourself.

You might think that you don’t deserve the love of an awesome God, Creator of the Universe, the only one I know who focuses on you as a person and not your achievements. Yes, you will stumble, you will fall, you will make mistakes but that is what makes us human we have all been there. Let’s be honest.

John 3:16-18

16-18 “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust Him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him. John 3:16-18

In the above scripture, God says He loves you so much that His first act of love was to give you a gift, to pay a debt you owed and not point accusing fingers at you.

Welcome to the beginning of the journey of your life, you are in for an experience that money can’t buy.

I’m so excited for you and I pray that God will bring people on this journey with you that are destiny helpers, people who will encourage you, be honest with you but do it all in love. Get ready for the ride of your life!!!!

 Task

Read the bible, get an actual hardcover bible – for those of you that like highlighting and making notes, and a bible application that has audio for you to listen to daily. Get a journal, and start journaling your daily walk, remember it would include struggles, ups and downs. You are a baby who will be inquisitive, ask lots of questions but importantly speak to God your Father as if you can see Him.

Prayer

Father, receive your child on this journey as you walk together. Let them have a personal walk with you daily.

15-19 That’s why, when I heard of the solid trust you have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love to all the followers of Jesus, I couldn’t stop thanking God for you—every time I prayed, I’d think of you and give thanks. But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength! Ephesians 1:15-19
